JH Gellerman Website Development and SEO
JH Gellerman builds and develops websites about health, beauty, medicine, the law, photography and SEO techniques. Although we started with a romance ebook site, we quickly found our talent was in developing authority, fact based websites.
Along the way, we discovered that the methodology for building websites should be one of “rise and repeat.” Find a subject, deliver high quality relevant content, develop linking and traffic strategies, and then do it again.
Looking for a CMS that delivered membership, a shopping cart and email responses, we developed sites in Joomla. In fact, with all the sites we’ve developed, we only have one site that is still in WordPress and one site in simple HTML code. Once Joomla conquered its SEO issues, it simply became the easiest and most complete CMS to use
We found that many CSS based web templates, were broken or did not show up correctly in AOL. Having found a professional template with 17 collapsible modules, we decided to take an, “if its not broke, don’t fix it” approach. And although all of our sites have a unique graphic identity, we do use the same template. It allows us to focus on content, secure that the “look and feel” of our websites can be altered as needed.
There are few feats as rewarding as taking an unknown site and pushing to the first page of the search results. Our first websites had absolutely no advertising on them, and were built for the sheer joy of exploring the medium.
Now JH Gellerman is branching out to building websites featuring virtual radio stations and international music. Whether we are developing niche sites, mega sites, landing pages or complex technical websites, we’ve found that the journey, truly is the adventure.
